CobRa ReAl...

Cobra is the common name of certain poisonous snakes, known for his intimidating appearance and its fatal bite. Is easily recognizable by a kind of cover they display when they feel threatened or irritated, which is formed by extension of the ribs on the back of his head. These reptiles live in Philippines, southern Asia and Africa. The actual charge or charges in Burma is the longest venomous snake in the world. The average length is 3.7 m but reached some 5.5 meters. It is a thin snake, olive or brown in color, with bronze eyes. Lives in Philippines, Malaysia, southern China, Myanmar, India, Thailand and the Malay Peninsula. Its activity is diurnal and feeds mainly on other snakes. Its venom is highly toxic. The other is known as the Asiatic cobra cobra glasses due to a design similar to that exhibited some glasses on your skin. Rarely reaches a length greater than 1.8 meters. Widening the area of his head is proportionately much larger than the actual charge and is usually yellow or brown. It develops its activity during dusk and at night and feeds on reptiles, birds and rodents. This snake causes many deaths each year in India, where he was treated with religious respect, and it rarely kills. The venom of cobras, a neurotoxin, has a devastating effect on the nervous system. However, due to the increased availability of an effective antidote, the high mortality rate due to its powerful poison has fallen in parts of Asia. The venom of cobras is being used in medical research because it contains an enzyme, lecitinasa that dissolves cell walls and membranes surrounding viruses.
